Description
An annual national event in England to celebrate the country's heritage. Usually held in September over a weekend. There is usually a theme. Heritage organisations are encouraged to provide access (usually free) to site of historical interest that are usually not open to the public.

In Saltaire the Heritage Open Days normally occur during the Saltaire Festival. A variety of exhibitions, tours and other events have occurred over the years, including the notorious 'Secret tunnels' tours of 2017...
